KeepCycle and KeepAlcove are built so what you log stays on your device, encrypted, and is never transmitted to us or sold. There is no account to create and no server that stores your entries. The free version shows banner ads, and what those send is set out below.
These apps do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data, health data, or usage content on our servers. Everything you enter, cycle data, notes, reminders, test results, or any other content, is encrypted on your device using a key derived from your own passcode and never leaves that device unless you personally choose to export or share it.
If you ask KeepCycle or KeepAlcove to import your history from Apple Health, that information is read on your device into the same encrypted store; nothing is written back and nothing is sent anywhere.
If you use the clinic finder or vaccine finder features, the zip code you enter is sent, with your explicit permission requested each time, to look up nearby locations. The result is cached for up to a day so the same zip code searched again is answered without a fresh lookup. The zip code is never linked to you or to anything you have logged.
Some features let you generate an export (a printable doctor summary, an encrypted backup file, a partner snapshot). That export is created and stored entirely on your device or in a location you choose, such as your own iCloud Drive, Files app, or email. We never receive a copy.

If you are a California resident, California law gives you specific rights over your personal information, including the right to know what's collected, the right to delete it, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information. We do not sell or share your personal information with any third party, and because we do not collect or store your health data at all, there is nothing on our end to know, correct, or delete beyond what's described above. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.
A note on California's reproductive and sexual health data law (AB 254): California law extends heightened medical-confidentiality protections to businesses that collect reproductive or sexual health information through an app. KeepCycle and KeepAlcove are deliberately built so that we never receive, collect, or store this information in any form, it is encrypted on your device using a key only you hold, and no copy of it ever reaches us. Our architecture is designed specifically not to trigger the data-collection requirements that laws like AB 254 place on services that do collect this information.
Keep Suite apps are not directed at children and are not intended for use by anyone under 17. We do not knowingly collect information from children, consistent with the fact that we do not collect personal information from any user, of any age.
We retain nothing, because nothing is ever transmitted to us. Your data's retention is entirely in your control, on your device, for as long as you choose to keep the app installed.
Your data is encrypted on your device using a key derived from your own passcode. We do not have access to this key and cannot decrypt or recover your data on your behalf, including if you forget your passcode.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Because we don't collect contact information from users, we're not able to notify you directly, so we'd encourage checking back periodically if you'd like to stay current.

You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on information you track in this app, including decisions related to contraception, fertility, and sexual health. You should not rely on this app as your sole source of information for any medical or health-related decision.
Pro features are offered as an auto-renewing subscription. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited if you purchase a subscription during the trial.
These apps do not require a traditional account. Where a PIN, passcode, or biometric lock is used, you are solely responsible for keeping it secure and for any activity that occurs through access to your device. We cannot recover your data if you forget your passcode, because we do not hold a copy of it or your data.
You agree not to use this app for any unlawful purpose, to misrepresent your identity or age, or to attempt to reverse-engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the app's functioning.
The app, including its design, text, graphics, and underlying code, is owned by Keep Apps LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

If you are a California resident, nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any rights you have under California law, including rights related to the confidentiality of medical information under the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act (CMIA), to the extent applicable.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Keep Apps LLC regarding use of the app.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will require re-acceptance before continued use.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
